Video upside down and no audio
AnsweredHi Snagit Team,
Kindly advise on the screenshot error what i got after for my recording, snagit was working fine before, don't know what is this error and due to this i had lost all my recording.
Please assist.

Just having the same issue on any video capture. No matter how small or what I try to capture, the video is the same as above, flipped and upside down. Latest version installed 2021.4.4
Any tips would be appreciated.

Hi vlevchenko - here's what I did with a Tech Smith consultant and it worked for me. I used the RegEdit fix which I believe was option #4 in the solution.
This fixed the upside down issue right away.

Ah sorry to hear that - it's like chasing one problem to another. The only other thing that may help with "Initializing" is changing another Registry Key "AllowDxgiScreenCapture to 0"
(If you've already tried this - sorry about that)

On Win 11, Dell XPS 9710, this solved my problem.

Thank you for your suggestion. This has been plaguing me for months! Changing the AllowDxgiScreenCapture to 0 solved this for me!0
