I paid for Snagit maintenance for the period 3 December 2020 to 3 December 2021, as the maintenance is guaranteed to provide the next major version of Snagit.
Of course, during the period 3 December 2020 to 3 December 2021, no new version came out because Snagit 2022 was delayed.
On 26 October 2021, which was past the time when a new version would have normally been released, TechSmith sent emails to maintenance customers reassuring them that there's no need to worry and that they will still get Snagit 2022 when it is finally released. The email I received from TechSmith on 26 October 2021 said this:
"Congratulations! Because you purchased or renewed your Snagit Maintenance in the past year, you will get Snagit 2022 for free when it's released this December. Smart move! In December, we'll email you your new Snagit 2022 software key, as well as instructions on downloading and installing the new version."
I see that Snagit 2022 has now been released, but I've received no further email and I see that Snagit 2022 has not been added to my account. When I log into my account, in the product section it just says "Oh no! Snagit is out of date. Upgrade to TechSmith Snagit 2022 today!".
TechSmith, please advise.
