What happened to Morae

I just found out that Morae was retired. I don't see an alternative product that does usability testing from Techsmith. What happened? Morae was considered the gold standard of usability testing software and the ux field is exploding....

  TechSmith stopped developing Morae years ago and never delivered a Mac Version. It's a shame because it was by far the best UX/Usability testing software around. I'm still looking for a replacement that's as powerful and feature-rich.
