Some needed SnagIt improvements
I've been a SnagIt customer for more years than I can remember. What strikes me most about SnagIt is the lack of tangible enhancements year after year. Here are some obvious ones that I scratch my head about daily:
- No capture and print option, similar to what Apple implemented in the iPhone years ago for screen captures that can be forwarded to someone (message/SMS). Sometimes I just want to capture and print, and save the extra steps that are currently required to save and print.
- No undo for deleting an image in the ribbon of recent captures
- Cannot shift left/right in the ribbon bar with keyboard cursor keys
I often question just how much the product managers and software engineers at a company use their own product when such basic features are missing in a mature product.

Hi,
Thanks for the feedback!
1. This is actually the first time I've seen a request for this, but I will pass it along to the team.
2. When you delete something from the tray, there should be a prompt asking if you want to delete it, unless you're referring to closing the item via the X button (which does not delete the capture)
3. The arrow keys are used to move things on the canvas, but you can navigate between tray items using Command [ and ]

Hi Luke,
- Difficult to think this thought has never crossed anyone's mind!
- Yes it's there. And when I realize 5 minutes later I need to get the image back, there's no undo feature to use
- Command [ and ] are not intuitive. I have keyboard shortcut overload but I know how to move the mouse pointer to an image and click on it to select. I expect the keyboard cursor keys to work. This is how it works in the Powerpoint slide sorter and side panel in normal view. I can also un-do the slide I deleted 5 minutes ago.
