Combine in Template > Custom Steps broken in latest update

Hi TechSmith!

Mac mini (M1, 2020) / macOS Big Sur, 11.6.5

Snagit: Version 2022.1.0 (98107)

• Select two or more screenshots from Recent Captures
• right-click and select Combine in Template
• Select Custom Steps
• click [Next]

Nothing happens when clicking [Next].  The button is not greyed out and appears functional, but does nothing.

Other templates, such as "Basic Two Steps Portrait" progress to next screen after clicking [Next] or pressing Return.  Problem seems restricted to Custom Steps option.

I last used this option at the beginning of the week and it worked fine with the previous version and versions before that.
