SnagIt capture crashes with "cannot capture" error message
When I record a session, it sometimes happens that the recording suddenly stops and a "cannot capture" error message appears. The capture is lost. It happens variably between 8 - 15 minutes.
This is excruciating, because I regularly record parts of online sessions where users demonstrate complex behavior or when instructors give elaborate explanations of work processes and then these recordings are lost!!
Please provide assistance in what to do in such an event.
Running on a Macbook Pro 2015, Monterey v12.31. Enough disk space etc.

Added version to the post.
Also, I have checked the folders ~/Library/Group Containers/7TQL462TU8.com.techsmith.snagit/Snagit 2022/PendingCaptures and ../Temporary and they are bothe empty.

Thanks, in 2022 if you open up Terminal and run
open $TMPDIR/TechSmithTemporaryFiles/recordings
this will open a folder that will have any video files that might still be around.
We do also have a 2022.1.0 update out that should have some improved stability around video recordings, so that could help.

The Check Update is now working after a restart and it finds an update that fixes multiple crash scenario's. I'll try this update and report back.
