Failing to update Snagit on Mac (Monterey) - DMG file is corrupt.
I downloaded the latest version of Snagit (2211) today and I get an error trying to install it.
Double-clicking the DMG file opens the End License agreement and I clicked on Agree. It starts to verify the disk image and then fails:
"The disk image couldn't be opened. Failed to attach the disk image, error 1000."
A Google search suggests verifying the DMG file using the Mac DiskUtility. That also fails with a 1000 error, but gives the description of "image data corrupted."
I tried downloading from within the Snagit application as well as downloading the image directly from Techsmith's website.
I have shut down all apps and tried and then rebooting and tried - the image is corrupted.
Does anyone else have this issue and, if so, have you found a solution?
