Software compatibility flaw discovered when screen recording with Camtasia Studio Ver. 21.0.19 (build 35860) 14/04/22 & using Skype.
On Win10 PC while making a new Camtasia Studio screen recording with a Skype Call in progress, pressing the Camtasia Studio recording Pause button, terminates the Skype-Out Call.
Situation occurs during a Skype-Out Call, if being placed On-Hold by the called recipient, one is tempted after a minute or so of being placed on hold, to press Pause button in the Camtasia Studio screen recording control panel, to reduce recorded file size, and wait for the call recipient to go off hold and to continue the conversation, however using the Camtasia Studio Pause button terminates the Skype-Out Call.
It seems the Camtasia Pause Button command interferes with Skype software and terminates Skype Calls. Hope TechSmith can test & modify their software to not cause Skype calls to terminate & interact with the Camtasia Studio recording Pause button when a recording is in progress.
Have reproduced this problem 5 times in a row.
