My project is terrible bad if I mix video with audio

Hi there,

I have some MP4 files those need to cut some parts inside.

But my video/audio is always like 'slow motion' from a time point if I edit my video.

Then, I try to record audio separately and input it to my project with my video (Silenced audio) ==> But, my project can only run smoothly some first minutes before it 'slow motion' again - If I hide video 'track' then I can hear audio 'track' clearly BUT anytime I unhide video, 'slow motion' is back, it causes the voice is very bad

I don't understand why it is and how to fix ---- Please support me

  what version of Camtasia are you using?

  what are your computer specs?

  where did the MP4s come from?

  Camtasia: 2020.0.7 build 24015

  PC Spec: Core i5, 16 GB of RAM, SSD 256 GB (HP Prodesk 400 G5 SFF)

  MP4 came from iPhone 8 (I created it by an app of iPhone)

  thanks for that info

  could be that the MP4s are the issue; some are not digested well by Camtasia in their native state

  try using free Handbreak to convert them into another MP4; that may make the files usable in Camtasia?

  free Handbreak ==> you mean "HandBrake" software from https://handbrake.fr/, don't you?

  yes; try using Handbreak software to convert the bad MP4 into another MP4
