Bluetooth?  Because Techsmith and Bluetooth don't mix.

    Ronny.

It affected ALL microphones.  Both WIRED and Bluetooth. None of them worked after the update (even after manually selecting them in the recording dialog).

After a lot of fidding around I got the bluetooth one to work a bit, but it was unstable (choppy).  Eventually after removing the entire Snagit software, unpairing and repairing bluetooth headsets, and reinstalling the Snagit software I got both WIRED and Bluetooth headsets to work.  It was a royal pain that licensed customers should NOT have to undergo unless they have agreed to test alpha or beta software.

On my machine when I do tutorials, I have to disable bluetooth and reboot the computer, then it works.

On my machine everything worked perfectly (wired logitech webcam microphone, apple airpods via bluetooth and bose bluetooth headsets) until the new update they pushed.  Then all microphones broke down and I have been able to restore (through reinstallation from scratch) both the Logitech camera microphone and the bose bluetooth headsets, but NOT the Apple Airpods bluetooth connection.

Also the software doesn't retain the headset choice made when you choose to restart the recording. It chooses the wired headset by default.  If you change back and forth from microphones it crashes.

This new upgrade is NOT a final product. It is a beta product being pushed irresponsibly by an inexperienced developing team that has NOT done its proper testing.  Maybe the result of the lack of availability of experienced talent. Not sure.
