Working fine; suddenly capture toolbar/window will not open

    Oh no! If you open Activity Monitor, do you see SnagitHelper running? If so, try force quitting it.

    We got a log from a user who saw something similar and it seemed like it might be related to the Dropbox output. Are you signed into dropbox in Snagit?

    Hi! Thank you very much for your patience while we worked on this. We just released Snagit 2023.2.2 which should include a fix the issue. Please update to the latest version and let me know if you continue to experience any problems.

    Using 2023.2.2 on mac and am still experiencing this issue.  My capture button does nothing.

    Can you check and see if SnagitHelper2024 is running in Activity Monitor?

    Ok, try hitting the stop sign looking button at the top there and force quitting SnagitHelper. Then relaunch Snagit and see if that fixes the issue. If it persists, please reach out to our support team https://bit.ly/techsmith-help
