TechSmith Community Forums Update
I wanted to give a quick update with regard to the TechSmith Community Forums. In the coming days/week we will be making some hefty changes around here. A new look, more focused conversations, and a host of other improvements are on the way but while we work on improving the Community there may be periods of downtime where members will not be able to comment / post in this space. While we will do our best to ensure the transition from old to new is seamless and with minimal interruptions, they may still occur. If they do, we ask that Community Members be patient and pardon our dust.
A major part of the updating and refreshing of the TechSmith User Community Forums will be transitioning away from our current provider and onto a platform that better suits our needs and vision for this space. The consequence of moving to a new provider though, means that the existing community user accounts will need to be migrated to the new platform; this migration will be automatic and should not require any interaction on your end, however, if you do not already have a TechSmith Technical Support account, you

I'm just getting to know the new forums and have a question: Will there finally be a way to easily report spam posts like this recent one (https://support.techsmith.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360071826111-How-Diabetics-Can-Plan-for-Coronavirus-Before-They-Get-Sick-)? And I mean without having to write an e-mail like suggested in the Code of Conduct. Because, in my eyes, for regular users like me, that's more hassle than a spam post is worth.

Sorry to complain, but the new forums don't look like an improvement to me ... yet.
Maybe you're working on it, or whatever.
In the meantime, will it be possible again to receive notifications in the email, of new questions/posts?
I came here because I realised I hadn't gotten any notification in a long time.
Thanks. Please fix things soon. This is not enjoyable.

We are indeed still working on it; circumstances beyond our control forced a lightning-fast switch to a new platform/design and we're still working on things, so the feedback is super appreciated. As to receiving notifications, you can indeed! See step six in this post and you'll be able to follow just the categories and types of content that you want (rather than the catch-all notifications found in the old forums).

Funny, spam post on the post that talks about the spam quoting community manager post... redundant, recursive and incredibly annoying!
