This is your secret tool. I have been a Camtasia user since version 3 or 4. Huge fan. The Video Review platform is beyond amazing. However it seems to have some very v1 aspects to it. It would be fantastic to have the following features:

Project Organization. Currently you can load up 25 different videos. They are not organized by project. While the 25 video limit is a small problem (charge more for a larger number of video uploads), the problem is organization. If I am working on 3 or 4 video projects that each have 5 or 10 or 15 video, there is no way to arrange them for better utility and organization.
Notifications. Yes, emails are sent out when comments are made and issues resolved. But there is no visual way to see which videos have been replied to or need reviewing. There is also no visual way to ascertain if a video has been updated.
Approval. We need a method to approve a video. If the edits are complete and all stakeholders are happy, then there should be a way to say the version is complete. I am sure the video editor would love to have this type of email and dashboard notification
Metrics: It would be invaluable to have a way to see how many comments were made on a video. It would also be invaluable to see how many are resolved.
Archive: Not sure if this is something you want to do, but to be able to archive the videos and comments would be amazing. If an archive feature is not possible, at a minimum a way to download the comments for each video to include in their project folders would be fantastic.

Keep up the good work. I would love to see these enhancements sooner than later. Even without them, this is a product that is worth its weight in gold.

I want to add to this list.
Currently you have some basic choices in header navigation: All Reviews, My Reviews and Shared with me.

It would be great to have two other categories or to have the videos sorted on the pages into categories:
New - Awaiting Review
Reviewed
Edits Made
Approved

These and the prior enhancements would make this product fantastic.

I am guessing that since my original post was 14 days ago and no one has replied, that these community forums are not actively monitored by Techsmith. :(

We run some online courses and paid for Video Review (been using Camtasia already prior) because we wanted to use it for our students to upload their video homework for us to review. But Video Review doesn't allow this. Would be great if there was a work around or if it was worked into a future upgrade. As of now, we're stuck with something we can't use.

I would also like to see a Batch Upload feature as well. It would also be great to add Reviewers on the video details prompt instead of after the video upload prompt.

Can the eraser tool be modified to allow for different backgrounds aside from the default Checkerboard. I am running the latest version of SnagIt 2021.2.0?

Adding more feature requests:

0. This program is poorly documented, I have not found an instructional video that explains how it was meant to work.

1. Every comment sends a separate email to the owner/editor -> annoying.
Better: Have a submit button that sends message "ready for re-review/editing/fixing"

2. No indication of review status in top interface: I see 25 videos, but which one has been reviewed?

3. Workflow:
- Somebody sends me a video for review (V1), I put in the comments and "send it back for editing" (Not implemented see point 1).
- A couple of days later V2 is being posted by the editor.
How am I supposed to see where the to be corrected issues where? I cannot see my notes in V2. I also cannot export the notes form V2 !!! (Only the owner can).
Now I have to flip back and forth between V1 and V2 to see where correction were requested.
Better: Also show the correction requests in the new version (yes, they might move slightly), maybe in a different color, and with a possibility to check them off as "resolved". (Appearing in a "resolved" list/tab...)

Thanks! Looking forward to the next version! I see the comments above are already 9 months old, so it can't be long...

I agree with the last part of Eriks.blaschka's note above. Being able to see comments from earlier versions in subsquent versions is critical for us. Exporting of comments by anyone, not just the owner would be extremely helpful as well. Does anyone know where to find the official product enhancement request form?
