Snagit 2021 using up too much RAM & lagging

After 5-10 screenshots Snagit starts to eat up the RAM and could hardly move the screenshot cursor. I have it running in the background so I can take quick screengrabs for work, but it slows my computer down A LOT.

Running on Mac OS Big Sur and 2021.4.0 version of Snagit.

I have to regularly quit the app or manually stop the background process from Activity Monitor, I know it's a Snagit issue because my computer loads faster every time I quit the app.

Please help, I need this app for the work I'm doing but it's such a headache to have to relaunch it many times.

So sorry that you're having a rough experience with Snagit. We're not seeing this happen, so we'd love to get some more information from you to figure out why it's happening to you.

- what type of screenshots are you taking? Fullscreen, region, snap to window, scrolling, pano, video?

- after things are slowed down, can you get a screenshot of how much ram and cpu SnagitHelper is using, from Apple's Activity Monitor?

I currently have a similar problem with 2022.1.2 (98109) on macOS Monterey 12.4. The fans start driving crazy and the computer gets very laggy. I am taking a lot of full screen snapshots.
