Mac version 12.4 crashed Snagit App

Yesterday i updated to latest Mac OS version.

And today Snagit keeps crashing. 

can check which version i got of snagit, but updating isn't working either. 

Hope you can help fix it.

  Hi,

  Sorry about this! Can you check the version of Snagit? You can do this by finding it in your applications folder in Finder, selecting Snagit, and pressing the space bar.

  Thanks, we've seen a couple cases where if there was a pending video capture from an old version it would cause this. You can fix this by deleting any .videocapture files in this folder:

  ~/Library/Group\ Containers/7TQL462TU8.com.techsmith.snagit/Snagit\ 2022/PendingCaptures 

  If you still want the videos, you can get the raw mp4 in the adjacent Temporary folder. I hope this fixes the issue for you!

  had this issue and the above (deleting the pending captures) worked for me. thanks!

  Same issue, seems its fixed now with these slightly different steps:

  1. Open Finder, menu Go\Go to Folder...
  2. Paste this: ~/Library/Group Containers/7TQL462TU8.com.techsmith.snagit/Snagit 2022/PendingCaptures
  3. Delete files with name *.snagitimagecapture

  No videos were in the Temporary folder.

  This crash should be fixed now in today's 2022.1.1 release.
