"Save As" dialogue box doesn't show file type choices
I have Snagit 2019 running on a 2019 Mavcbook Pro with OS Monterey. I haven't used Snagit in a while, but having opened a jpg in it just now, I went to "Save as", expecting to see a drop-down menu with choices of file types, and select SnagProj, so I could retain layers for editing later, EXCEPT....there is no file type choice available. (see attached). maybe I'm missing something, but normally Save as allows a file type change.

Actually, the screenshot is deceptive - there's a pdf there.
When I load a jpg into Snagit, and then hit "File", then "Save as", I normally get a drop-down, but there's nothing showing up - wonder if it's a Mac OS thing?

It may be a version issue. I'm running 2022

yes, the "Format" drop-down box is what's missing for me. I used Snagit 2019 heaps last year on this Mac, and there was no problem - I would open a jpg, and immediately use "Save as" to save the document as a SnagProj file, so I could preserve the layers and edit later, and I just want to continue without having to pay more money to buy another version.
The only difference for me now, is that possibly I was using the OS prior to Monterey - Does anyone know if there are incompatibility issues with Snag 2019 and Mac OS Monterey?

Snagit 2019 is not supported on Monterey https://support.techsmith.com/hc/en-us/articles/219910027-What-Version-of-macOS-Is-Required-for-TechSmith-Products-, it's unfortunate that something broke so soon, but our support policy means we're not likely to fix it. If you contact tech support, they may have a workaround for you though.
