The Feature You Are Trying to Use Is on a Network Resource That Is Unavailable When Launching Snagit


Snagit fails to launch and the following error appears.



Please use one of the options below to fix the problem.

Option 1: Repair Snagit

  1. Download a new copy of Snagit (the same version you are currently running) from our downloads page.
  2. Double-click the downloaded file.
  3. Choose Repair when prompted with this screen.
  4. Once complete, try Snagit again.

Option 2: Reinstall Snagit

Make sure you have your license key before uninstalling Snagit.

  1. Uninstall Snagit. To uninstall, see this article.
  2. Reboot your computer.
  3. Reinstall Snagit from the downloads page.
