Update on TechSmith Quizzing
On June 27, 2025 the TechSmith Results Service and online quiz editor will be retired. Existing quizzes and question feedback embedded in videos will still be shown to recipients, but we will no longer score quizzes, track view progress, or aggregate the data. We will no longer send Results emails, and the Results website (https://results.techsmith.com) will not be available.
We want to focus our development on building software that supports creation and communication, and maintaining our quizzing services as they are now is not the best place to put our talents and efforts.
Camtasia Changes Related to this Retirement

Camtasia version 2023 and later:
- Camtasia removed the Report quiz results through email option.
- Quiz reports and the Results website (https://results.techsmith.com) will no longer be available after June 27, 2025.

Quizzes can still be added to Camtasia projects.
- Quizzes will still be displayed for viewers on videos exported to Screencast or hosted on your own website. However, no quiz data will be collected and the quizzes will be for viewer benefit only.
- A SCORM package may be produced for use in a Learning Management System (LMS). To learn how, see our Build Quizzes & Surveys tutorial. The SCORM package will report quiz scores or video view percentage directly to the LMS gradebook.

Camtasia version 2022 and earlier:
- Videos created with the Report quiz results through email option will continue to report quiz results only until the Results Service is retired in June 2025.
Note: We are sharing this information to give our customers who rely on quiz data in Camtasia to time to find assessment alternatives. We look forward to continuing to bring you amazing tools for video creation and sharing!
