Upcoming Changes to Quizzing in TechSmith Apps

Update on TechSmith Quizzing

• Camtasia Changes
  TechSmith Results will be retired in the first half of 2025. Viewers can still take quizzes in your videos. However, we will not score the quiz, track the view progress, or aggregate the quiz results data.
     
  
  • Camtasia version 2023 and later:
    • Camtasia removed the Report quiz results through email option.
    • Quiz reports and the Results website (https://results.techsmith.com) will no longer be available.
    • Quizzes can still be added to Camtasia projects. To receive quiz results, you must export a SCORM package for use in a Learning Management System (LMS). To learn how, see our Build Quizzes & Surveys tutorial.
  • Camtasia version 2022 and earlier:
    • Videos created with the Report quiz results through email option will continue to report quiz results until the Results Service is retired in 2025.

• Knowmia Pro Changes
  The ability to add new quizzes in Knowmia Pro will be removed in July 2024. You will still be able to edit and delete quizzes that were created prior to July 2024.
  
  In the first half of 2025, TechSmith Results Service and the quiz editor will be retired. Existing quizzes and feedback embedded in videos will still be shown to recipients, but we will no longer score quizzes, track view progress, or aggregate the data. We will no longer send Results emails, and the Results website (https://results.techsmith.com) will not be available.
