Optimal Settings for Exporting Video That Will Be Imported to Another Application

What settings should I select in Camtasia Mac to edit my produced file to another video editor?

Solution

Verify that the canvas dimensions are set to the original recording dimensions. Please see this video and this article for more information. Once the review is complete, export the project using the steps below.

1. Select Share > Local File.
   
2. In the File Format dropdown, select Export to MP4 (.mp4).
3. Click Options.
   
4. In the Frame Rate dropdown, set rate to Automatic.
5. In the Dimensions dropdown, set dimensions to Current.
6. Select OK and Export.
