How to Uninstall Camtasia on Windows

How do I uninstall Camtasia from my computer?

Solution

Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8, or Windows 7

1. Exit Camtasia.
2. Open the Control Panel. For help locating the Control Panel, see this Microsoft support article.
3. Select Programs and Features.
   
   
   

   Tip:

   If you do not see the Programs and Features category, locate the Uninstall a program option under Programs.
   

4. Select the version of Camtasia to uninstall.
5. Click Uninstall.
   
   
   
   
6. Choose to Keep User Data or Delete User Data from Camtasia.
   
   
   

   If you select the Delete User Data option, .tscproj and media files should not be deleted unless they are not a part of a Standalone project while also having media that was a part of the Library.
