Snagit (Windows): Appearance Changes in Virtualized Environments

Now when I start a capture, the cross hairs look different. They do not extend to the edges of the screen, there are no "marching ants," ect.

With Snagit version 12.2 and later, Snagit now has the ability to use an optimized set of crosshairs when running inside of a virtual machine. If we detect virtualized hardware is in use, the crosshairs will automatically switch to a minimal version to improve performance. With these crosshairs there is no shadow effect, no animation on the currently selected area, and the lines themselves are not drawn across the entire display.
