Solution

Camtasia requires the Media Feature Pack to be installed with Windows N.  Download the Media Feature Pack based on your operating system.

Tip!

See this support article to determine which build of Windows 10 is installed.

  Windows 10 1903 and Later

  1. Click Start > Settings.

  2. Click Apps.

  3. Click Optional features.

  4. Click Add a feature.

  5. Locate Media Feature Pack from the list and click Install.

  6. Once the install is complete, restart the computer.

  Windows 10 (1809 and earlier), 8.1, 8

  Windows 7
