Problem
I am unable to import a Library that I backed up from a previous version of Snagit.
Solution
A possible cause to being unable to import a backed-up Snagt Library is because Microsoft SQL CE is disabled by default on new installs.
To enable, please run the installer for Snagit then select options and choose Advanced then deselect the option to Disable Microsoft SQL CE then continue the installation.
Note: If Snagit is already installed on the latest version, it will need to be fully uninstalled (See uninstall instructions here) and reinstalled to change this setting.
Once complete, the "Import Backup" option is available.
