My Exported Content from Camtasia Online is Blurry

Problem

My exported content from Camtasia online is blurry.

Solution

This can happen if you are recording resolutions greater than 1920x1080 (1080p). If you have a monitor that has higher resolutions, such as 3840x2160 (4k) or 2560x1440 (2k), then we recommend temporarily changing the resolution of your monitor.

Windows

1. Right Click on the desktop and go Display Settings
2. Select 1920x1080 in the Display Resolution dropdown
   
   
   
   
3. Press Keep Changes
4. Record your content with Camtasia online
5. Set your Display Resolution back to the original (recommended) resolution

MacOS

1. Click on the Apple menu icon in the upper left corner of your display and choose System Settings
2. Click on Displays
3. Select Larger Text
   
   
   
   
4. Record your content with Camtasia online
5. Set your scaling back to the original (recommended) scaling
