Sharing Images Results in Large Image Size

Problem

After sharing a capture with Snagit on macOS from the Share menu, copy and paste, or dragging from the tray, the image size is too large.

Solution

By default Snagit 2020, and later, will share images using the full (retina) size of that image. You can change this within the Snagit Preferences

Scaled Dimensions

1. Select Snagit > Settings > Advanced.
2. Check on Scale down retina images when sharing.
   
3. Close window and share an image.
