Unable to Sign in to Snagit Editor on Mac


When trying to sign in to Snagit nothing happens.


Please do the following:

  • Quit Snagit
  • Open your Keychain Access utilities on your Mac (this can be found in your Utilities or searching for Keychain in the spotlight search bar).
  • Once in there, search for TechSmith Account - Snagit.
  • Right click on TechSmith Account - Snagit and choose Delete.

There may be multiple TechSmith Account - Snagit files based on the version of Snagit. Please delete all of them

  • Restart the computer.
  • Open Snagit and try signing in again.
