The TechSmith Smart Player JavaScript and CSS are hosted on an Azure CDN. Your viewer will need access to the following domain:

The TechSmith Smart Player consists of two files for the player:

No, there is no additional fee when using the hosted TechSmith Smart Player.
Does TechSmith host my video when using the hosted TechSmith Smart Player?
No, only the JavaScript and CSS files are hosted from our CDN. You will still need to host the Camtasia production including the video and html files created by Camtasia.
Does TechSmith collect data from your viewers when using the hosted TechSmith Smart Player?
No, TechSmith does not collect data about where the JavaScript and CSS files are being requested from.
How do I produce a video with the TechSmith Smart Player in Camtasia?
In Camtasia version 2020.0.8 or later, select Export > Custom Production > MP4 - Smart Player (HTML5). On the Smart Player Options screen in the Production Wizard, select the Use hosted Smart Player files option.
