macOS Environments:
Snagit is supported on Mac system hardware that natively supports the minimum requirement of macOS or higher listed here: https://www.techsmith.com/snagit/system-requirements
If you have used 3rd party applications to upgrade your macOS on older hardware, this is an unsupported environment and can cause Snagit to be unstable or not able to work correctly. We do not offer support for systems running a macOS that is not natively supported by its hardware.
We have seen issues on these configurations including but not limited to:
- Failure to Capture Screenshots
- Failure to Intialize Video Recordings resulting in system crashing
- Failure to establish a connection to macOS system audio
- Incorrect colors rendering on the editing canvas of Snagit
