Does Camtasia Editor support .webm video files?

WebM file support was introduced in Camtasia Editor 2025. While Camtasia Editor does now support .webm filetypes, it's important to note that there are many variations of WebM files. If you have a WebM file that you're trying to use in Camtasia Editor and something isn't working as you expected, please reach out to our Support Team by opening a ticket.
It's important to note that for our development teams to be able to investigate why your WebM file is not working, you'll need to be able to share it with our Tech Support team. If you're unable to share the file, there is little that can be done to support that type of WebM file.
