How to Record a Video with Snagit

Problem

I need to record a video on the internet with Snagit.

Solution

You will want to follow the below steps o record content that you've found on the internet with Snagit such as:

• Tutorial Videos
• Websites
• YouTube
• Other hosted media solutions

Note: Some sites and media solutions may adhere to HDCP protocols to prevent the unauthorized recording of protected content. 

Step One:

1. Open the Snagit Capture Window
2. Click on the Video tab
3. Select your audio devices (to record what you hear, please make sure the System Audio option is turned on)

Step Two:

Record your content

Step Three:

Trim unnecessary elements from your video using the Snagit Editor.
