If you want Snagit to remember your preferred tool settings—like arrow width, color, or shadow—so you don’t have to adjust them every time, you can save these as Quick Styles or Favorites.
Step-by-Step Instructions
-
Customize Your Tool
- Select the tool you want to use (for example, Arrow, Callout, or Shape).
- Adjust the properties (such as color, width, shadow, etc.) to your liking.
-
Save as a Quick Style
- In the tool’s properties area, look for the Quick Styles section.
- Click the “+” (plus) button or “Add Quick Style” to save your current settings as a new Quick Style.
- Your new Quick Style will appear in the Quick Styles list for easy access next time.
-
Add to Favorites (Optional)
- Hover over your saved Quick Style and click the star icon to add it to your Favorites.
- Access your Favorites from the Favorites tool for even faster selection.
-
Use Your Saved Settings
- Next time you use the tool, simply select your saved Quick Style or Favorite to apply your preferred settings instantly.
