Snagit Crashes on Startup on macOS

Problem

The Snagit  Editor crashes when I attempt to open it.

Solution

1. Open a Finder window and from the menu bar select Go > Go To Folder...
   
2. Copy and paste the following folder in this window and press return ~/Library/Group Containers/7TQL462TU8.com.techsmith.snagit/Snagit 2024/PendingCaptures
   
   *Snagit 2024 can be replaced with whatever version of Snagit you are using. For example if this is for Snagit 2022 you would want to include that in the pathway instead*
   
3. Clear out the files in this folder, restart Snagit and try again.
4. If the issue remains please try restarting the computer.
