Problem

Snagit is unable to open and displays the following error:

The Application Was Unable to Start Correctly (0xc000007b)

Solution

Please follow these steps to resolve this problem.

1. Uninstall ALL versions of Snagit. To uninstall, see this article.
2. Reboot your computer.
3. Reinstall Snagit from the downloads page.
