You receive the error message "Cannot recognize text. Please try Grab Text again. If this issue persists, please contact technical support for assistance." when using the Grab Text feature in Snagit.
Solution

Close Snagit and Snagit Editor:
- Ensure both Snagit and the Snagit Editor are not open or running in the background.

Download and Install the Latest Version:
- Download the latest release of Snagit 2024 from here.
- Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Verify the Update:
- Open Snagit and navigate to
Help > About Snagit
to confirm the version number matches the latest release.
