Camtasia for Mac Activation Messages

Problem

When unlocking Camtasia for Mac with your software key, you are presented with one of the following messages:

Installation Limit Reached

This means the software key has been used twice to activate Camtasia. A single user software key can be used on up to two machines for the same user. You do not have to take any action at this time, but if you wish to learn more about licensing activation, click Learn More in the message.

Installation Limit Exceeded

This means this software key has been used more than twice to activate Camtasia and is in violation of our EULA (End User License Agreement). A single user software key can only be used on up to two machines for the same user. Please click Learn More in the message on what steps should be taken.

No More Installations Available

HardLimitReached.jpg

This means this software key has been used more than twice to activate Camtasia and is in violation of our EULA (End User License Agreement). A single user software key can only be used on up to two machines for the same user. The software key can no longer be used to Activate Camtasia without action. Please click Learn More in the message on what steps should be taken.

Invalid Key

InvalidKey.jpg

This means this software key was not typed or pasted in properly or is no longer a valid license key due to various reasons. Please double check that the software key was entered correctly. If you are copying and pasting it in, please try typing it in manually. Click Learn More in the message if you feel this software key should be valid. 

Unable to Reach the Activation Service

This means you either do not have an internet connection to proceed with the activation or you need to do an Offline Activation.

Activation Failed: Invalid Date/Time

This can happen when the system clock is set too far in the past. Verify the computer is set to sync with the internet for the date and time within the System Preferences.
