Offline activation is available for perpetual licenses of Camtasia. Offline activation is not available for Camtasia individual license subscriptions.
If your machine is not connected to the internet, you can still activate Camtasia 2020 or a newer version offline. Select an option below based on your operating system.
- Open Camtasia and click Offline Activation.
- In the dialog that opens:
- Click Copy to copy the generated text to the clipboard.
- Or, click Save As to save a .txt file.
Keep this dialog open. You will need to paste the activation code here to register Camtasia.
- Using a device that is connected to the internet, open the activation website.
- In the offline activation tool that opens, paste the text that you saved or copied earlier, and then click Activate.
- Activation code is generated. Copy the entire activation code.
- On the machine with Camtasia installed, paste the activation code and click Register.
- Open Camtasia and click Offline Activation.
- In the dialog that opens:
- Click Copy to copy the generated text to the clipboard.
