If your subscription expired or was canceled, you may be able to reactivate or repurchase it from your TechSmith account.
Reactivate a Snagit or Camtasia subscription
This option is available for:
Snagit/Camtasia Legacy License or Business License Subscription
To reactivate a subscription:
- Visit manage.techsmith.com and sign in to your TechSmith account.
- Go to the Online store orders tab.
- Next to the subscription, select Reactivate subscription.
- Enter your payment details and complete the purchase.
- After the purchase is complete, you’ll receive a subscription with a new expiration date and a new subscription ID. You can keep using the same software key as before.
If the option to reactivate a subscription is not available, you can add the product to the cart and repurchase it instead. Please note that in case you repurchase, you will receive a new software key.

To repurchase a subscription:
- Visit manage.techsmith.com and sign in to your TechSmith account.
- Go to the Online store orders tab.
- Next to the subscription you want to repurchase, select Add to cart.
- Adjust the number of seats if needed, then select Checkout.
- Enter your payment details and complete the purchase.
- After the purchase is complete, you’ll receive a subscription with a new expiration date and a new subscription ID.
