Problem
Camtasia Editor project has distorted or degraded audio when produced.
Solution
Some users may notice that audio quality is distorted or degraded when exporting with the modern Camtasia Editor exporter. If you are experiencing this issue, there is an option found in Camtasia Editor that could address this issue.
- Open the original project in Camtasia Editor.
- Click the audio on the Timeline so it is selected.
- Select the Audio tab on the Properties panel if it is not selected.
- Check the Mix to Mono box.

Export the video as you normally would.
