Solution

We recommend making sure Windows Defender Firewall and/or VPN connection is not blocking Camtasia from being able to reach out to sign-in servers used with your TechSmith account(s).

  1. First select the start menu for Windows OS, in the search area please type: Windows Defender Firewall

  2. In the Windows Defender Firewall window please select Advanced Settings.

  3. With Advanced settings open, please select Outbound Rules, then New Rule on the right side of the window.

  4. The new rule will be for a program.
