Audiate can work with various microphones when wanting to record audio with Audiate. However, we highly recommend using a USB microphone for audio input. We prefer ones which connect straight from the microphone to a USB port on the computer. For example, a Blue Yeti USB Mic. We will also work with internal microphones. We do not officially support the following devices:
- Wireless microphones
- Mixing devices
- Breakout boxes
- USB hubs or USB extension cables connected to a microphone
