Problem
- Is Snagit supported on 64-bit systems?
- I received a 32-bit version of Snagit, however my computer is 64-bit.
Solution
When downloading Snagit,
- Install the 64-bit version of Snagit to the 64-bit machine.
- Install the 32-bit version of Snagit to the 32-bit machine (Snagit 2021 and earlier only).
However, DO NOT
- Install the 64-bit version of Snagit to the 32-bit machine.
- Install the 32-bit version of Snagit to the 64-bit machine.
Snagit 2018 and later will install in the following location:
- C:\Program Files\TechSmith\Snagit ##
The appropriate version can be downloaded from the software downloads page.
Snagit 13 and earlier is only offered as a 32-bit version and will install (unless otherwise specified) in the following locations, depending on your computers architecture.
