Manually Installing Stamps in Snagit

Problem

Some users are reporting that despite having a recent version of Snagit installed and fully functional, when they try to install new Stamps downloads from our website, they are prompted to install a recent version of Snagit and the Stamps installer fails.

Solution

1. Download and install 7-zip from the project's homepage
2. Download any desired Stamps packs from our Stamps Accessories page
3. Locate the downloaded Stamps installer file and right-click on it, then choose 7-zip->Extract Here (or "Extract to <filename>" to create a new folder first), like so:

   
   

4. Custom stamps are detected from a "Snagit Stamps" folder in your My Documents folder:

   
   

5. To manually install a new Stamp pack, copy the extracted image files from step 3 into a new folder this location: C:\Users\Documents\Snagit Stamps\
