Does Camtasia have a limit on the length of video recording's?
Solution
It is recommended to keep recordings to 4 hours or less for a single recording. There is no built in limitation on how long Camtasia is able to record for, however recording for longer than the recommended time can increase the risk of running into an unidentified issue with the software because we do not actively test recordings longer than 4 hours.
If you need need to record for longer than 4 hours we do recommend breaking your recordings up into multiple recordings as a workaround.
Tip: Free Up Space
It is important for longer recordings that you make sure you have a significant amount of free hard drive space. The higher motion content you record, the more hard drive space you will need.
