No Network Connection Error in Camtasia

Problem

Camtasia displays, "No Network Connection" error when attempting to start and/or sign in.

Solution

Camtasia requires a network connection to verify your license. Check the following and try again:

  • Wi-Fi is turned on or an ethernet cable is connected.
  • Your router (and/or hub or switch) is working.
  • Internet connection

Review the information listed in our article on Camtasia not Activating.

If you use a proxy server/firewall, allow Camtasia to use the following:

  • my.nalpeiron.com
  • nsa.nalpeiron.com
  • login.techsmith.com
  • ports 443 and 80

You can find out more information on proxy servers/firewalls in our dedicated support article on using Camtasia with a Proxy Server/Firewall.
