Snagit and Camtasia are sold as either an Individual License subscription and a Business License subscription. Please find information below to help you determine what license type is best for you.
Individual License:
Individual license subscriptions (including Camtasia Essentials, Camtasia Create, and Camtasia Pro) are best for those that are purchasing a license for themselves with no need to add additional licenses or transfer the license to another user as individual subscriptions are non-transferable. No software key is needed or provided as you’ll sign in to use Snagit or Camtasia.
Business License:
Business license subscriptions are licensed per user and will receive a software key when purchasing. Business licenses are best for customers that meet any of the following criteria:
- need a transferable license,
- need to purchase for someone other than themselves,
- need to purchase more than one user (or be able to add additional users in the future)
- need offline activation (can't connect to the internet)
Camtasia Essentials, Camtasia Create, and Camtasia Pro are Individual Plans that consist of different subscriptions. Unfortunately, Plans are not yet available as Business Licenses in our online shop. However, our sales team can help you customize your subscriptions. Volume discounts are also available.
