How do I purchase the latest version?
If you no longer have an active subscription and would like to access the latest Snagit version, you can purchase from our online store.
I have an active subscription, how do I install the latest version?
You must have an active subscription that includes Snagit access to use (and continue using) the latest version. It is highly recommended you check and confirm before installing a new version of Snagit.
To check if you have an active subscription:
- Visit manage.techsmith.com and if prompted, sign in to your TechSmith account.
- Check if you have one of the following:
An active Snagit Business or Snagit Individual Subscription:
Or an active Camtasia Business or Camtasia Individual Subscription/Plan that includes Snagit access. See this support article.
- If you have an active Snagit or Camtasia Business Subscription but cannot see it on the Dashboard tab, try the Keys tab.
To install a new version of Snagit:
- In your TechSmith account, click Download or use this link (download will start automatically, and should recognize your OS).
- If prompted to sign in, sign in with the email you used to purchase.
- If you are not prompted to sign in, it's possible Snagit activated automatically. To check to see if you're already activated, choose Help > About Snagit to confirm licensing information.
If you are part of an organization license or someone purchased a license on your behalf, you'll need to contact your internal teams in charge of deployment for more instructions.
