Save Using Retina Size Does Not Work

Problem

After saving a capture with Snagit on macOS the image does not appear to be a retina image.

Solution

When you take a capture and then select File > Save as, if you select Save using Retina size, this option will not do anything. The best workaround at the moment would be to set your preference to whichever setting you want which will then be used when saving the file.

Retina Dimensions

1. Select Snagit > Preferences > Advanced.
2. Deselect Scale down retina images when sharing.
   
3. Close window and capture a retina image.

Scaled Dimensions

1. Select Snagit > Preferences > Advanced.
2. Select Scale down retina images when sharing.
   
3. Close window and capture an image.
