You Must Sign In or Enter a Software Key To Use Camtasia

Problem

When opening Camtasia you are presented with the following message:
You must sign in or enter a software key to use Camtasia. 

Solution

Select Help > Check for Updates in Camtasia to install the latest version.

If you are unable to update or the issue remains in order to fix the problem please follow these steps:

1. Make sure Camtasia is closed
2. Open a run window by holding your Windows key + R key on your keyboard
3. Copy and paste in the following: %programdata%\TechSmith\Camtasia Studio 24\
4. Find and delete the Identity folder
5. Find and delete the Reginfo.ini file
6. Start Camtasia and see if you have the same issue
