How do I get started using Camtasia Snagit?
You can start using Camtasia Snagit right away!
Download and install the latest version of Snagit, then use your Camtasia Business license key to unlock it.
Please note: If you receive an "invalid software key" message, you may not be using the latest version of Snagit. Your Camtasia Business license key will unlock Snagit 2026.2.2 or later for Windows and Snagit 2026.2.0 or later for Mac. If needed, download the latest version and try again.
Option #1: Check your TechSmith account
- Visit manage.techsmith.com and if prompted, sign in to your TechSmith account.
- Go to the Keys tab.
- Download Snagit. Or, you can download the latest Snagit version here.
- Copy your new key and paste it when prompted during the installation process.
Option #2: Ask your IT/Admin
If your organization purchased a Camtasia Business License on your behalf and you are unsure of your license status, please contact your IT/Admin for assistance.
